History & Staff

We have years of experience caring for families, from all walks of life. Each family comes to us because they know we are leaders in our profession, dedicated to excellence in service, and have the highest integrity.

Our History

In 1959 John and Delores Coker purchased the Funeral Home in Sanger Texas and proudly almost 50 years later we are still a local family owned and operated funeral home in Jacksboro as well as Sanger and Decatur, Texas.  Mike Coker had a vision to raise his family in a rural community full of pride and tradition and be an active part of that community.  After much researching and planning the Coker Family purchased the Maddox-Hawkins Funeral Home in Jacksboro in 1990. The funeral home already had deep roots into Jack County as it was owned and operated by a native of Jack County.

We are proud of our funeral directors and staff, each of who are dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of excellence in funeral service as well as being active members of the community.  We take pride in our ability to meet the needs of every family. We genuinely care about our friends and neighbors.
