Kasey "KK" King

VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE PAGE Kasey May King was born on June 21, 1994 in Bedford, Texas to Kendall and Susan King. She went to be with her Lord whom she loved so dearly on Saturday April 25, 2009. She was 14 years old. Kasey or better known to all her friends and family as “KK” was a precious and beautiful young lady. The kind of friend and lady that was beautiful inside and out. She loved God and was such a Godly, kind and thoughtful Christian. She was truly a witness to all those that were fortunate enough to meet her. She adored and loved her family and friends dearly and they loved her back passionately. You just couldn’t help but love this precious girl that God graced us all with. She enjoyed softball in high school and cheerleading. She however decided to give up cheerleading this next year because she had a passion and love for animals and her goal was to become a veterinarian and graduate from Texas A&M University with a degree in veterinary science. It was with much maturity and motivation that she gave up a love for cheerleading to dedicate herself more to her studies to achieve that goal. Kasey was the baby of the family of three beautiful and unique girls and she was the glue for their family with her happiness, her smile and her all-giving love. Kasey has been greeted in heaven by her Savior Jesus and her beloved grandparents that have already passed before her-Bobby Gilbert, Sr. and Jo Plunkett. Those that are left here to cherish her memory are her parents Kendall and Susan King of Jacksboro; her sisters Sarah and Meagan King of Jacksboro; her grandparents Don Ray King of Jacksboro, Lilly May West of Newport, Texas and George D. Plunkett of Weatherford; her aunts and uncles Donna and Jeff Graves of Jacksboro and Cathy and Greg Singletary and her four uncles Bobby Gilbert, Jr. of Arlington, Richard Gilbert of Denton, Daniel Plunkett and Bruce Gilbert of Fort Worth; and many other cousins, family members and dear friends. There will be a visitation on Tuesday April 28, 2009 from 6-7 pm at Coker Funeral Home in Jacksboro, Texas Services will be Wednesday morning at 10 am at First Baptist Church in Jacksboro, Texas with Craig Lile officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. If so desired memorials may be made to the Youth Program at the church of your choice in memory of Kasey.
