Gloria Ann Widger

July 9, 1947 - December 25, 2021

Gloria Ann Widger, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on December 25, 2021. The family will have a memorial service at a later date. Gloria was born the sixth child and second daughter into a family of older siblings. She was indeed the apple of the eyes of her mother and daddy and was truly his little princess. She grew up on a typical rural Texas family, rich in love and all things meaningful. She attended church faithfully and gave her heart to Jesus at a young age. She realized something in life that many seek but never find: contentment. She enjoyed simple things and life’s little pleasures made her happy. She found fulfillment in her role as wife, mother and Nana, and nothing made her happier that enjoying time with her husband and family. Very simply stated, she loved and perhaps more importantly, she was loved by everyone who knew her. She will be missed. Gloria is preceded in death by her parents, Sandy and Gladys Jackson, 5 siblings, Hubert Jackson, Gene Jackson, Billy Ray Jackson, Bobby Jackson, and Delveena “Neenie” Whitt. Our Lord has called Gloria Ann Widger, to her eternal home in Heaven. She has left many loving family members and friends here, but she has many more rejoicing with her in Heaven now. Survivors include, her husband Kendall Widger of Jacksboro, children, Lesli Ward and husband Bud of Lake Bridgeport, Corey Whitaker and wife Melissa of Marble Falls, and Shelley Casas and husband Victoriano of Austin. Many loving and beautiful grandchildren, Morgan White, Ciarra Bivins, Lincoln Whitaker, Grace Casas, Genevieve Casas and VC Casas. Great grandchildren, Slade White, Allie White, Aubrey Thompson, Justin Murphy and Zayge Murphy.
