John Wesley (Jimmy) Johnson Jr. was born January 24, 1957 to Evelyn Marie (King) Johnson and John Wesley Johnson Sr. in Jacksboro, Texas. He passed from this life on November 28 at the age of 63 years, 10 months and 4 days. John is preceded in death by his parents, Evelyn and John Wesley Johnson. He is survived today by his children: Julius Johnson and Rachel Johnson; twin grandchildren on the way; his brothers: Glenn King, Damon Johnson, Ricky Don Johnson and Raymond Johnson; as well as his very special friend, Pat Harris. John attended Lenny Shelton School (1-3rd) and Jacksboro ISD 4-12th, where he was actively involved in sports. He professed his faith and salvation in Christ as a child at Mt. Pisgah Christian Methodist Church in Jacksboro, TX. After graduating from Jacksboro High School, his first Job was at the Green Frog Diner in Jacksboro. He worked as a chef at the Palo Pinto General Hospital in Mineral Wells for many years. He was also a member of Christian Missions Church in Jacksboro, TX.
