Savannah Nicole Seeds

Savannah Nicole Seeds, of Jacksboro, Texas, was born on July 22, 2001 in Clarksville, Arkansas. She was tragically killed on Sunday November 20, 2016 in Jacksboro. She was 15 years old. Savannah had just recently moved here to Jacksboro from California where she attended Jacksboro Middle School. She was immediately embraced by all who met her. She was loving and kind, outgoing and sweet. Savannah will be dearly missed. She is preceded in death by her grandfather Joey Herrera and uncle Kenneth White; and great-grandfather John White and many other aunts and uncles. Her memory will be cherished by her mother Angelina Herrera; father Clifford Seeds; father Jimmy Hicks and wife Desirae; sisters Haley Seeds, Shaylin Hicks and Chazlyn Gary; brothers Jimmy and Joseph Hicks; Hunter and Mason Seeds; grandparents Elizabeth Herrera, Elizabeth Willmond, Kathy Saldecke; great-grandmother Christine White; and many other extended family members and friends. She was special, as you should know, I really didn't want to let her go. She touched the hearts of everyone she knew. Letting her go was so hard to do. Her smile could brighten up the darkest room. I wish you didn't have to take her so soon. Could you sit and rock her and read her a story, She's probably afraid, please tell her don't worry. Tell her mommy loves her and wishes she could be here, But it won't be for many more years. She loves to sing all kinds of songs, Please tell her that she did no wrong. Would you comfort her and hold her in your arms tight, And tell her she is missed every day and night. Please tell her she is loved so very dear I'll say it every day for her to hear Her short life on earth is now completed For lessons I'm sure you felt I needed Tell her I promise to see her again someday When that will be, I really can't say I promise to make up for the time that's past To hold her and comfort her, in my arms at last. The Lord whispered to me, "I love you so," "Come follow me, my child, high places we will go." The Lord knelt beside me at an altar in prayer, He wiped my tears and took away my despair. "Come follow me, my child," the Lord whispered to me, "There will be no more pain, but oh so much to gain." He said, "I forgive you now for all you've done," Now it's time to receive the love of God's only son." His love was so warm, so bright and so true, I could not believe my soul he had renewed, He repaired my soul from the inside out. It was then and only then I knew what love was about. The cleansing power that fell over me, Was the love of the Lord as he carried me. "Come follow me, my child," the Lord whispered to me, "In that sweet holy land someday you will be. You will see the Lord's face at those big pearly gates, Where loved ones embrace and angels await. Come follow me, my child," the Lord whispered to me, "I will love you always, your protector I'll be. Footprints One night I dreamed a dream. As I was walking along the beach with my Lord. Across the dark sky flashed scenes from my life. For each scene, I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand, One belonging to me and one to my Lord. After the last scene of my life flashed before me, I looked back at the footprints in the sand. I noticed that at many times along the path of my life, especially at the very lowest and saddest times, there was only one set of footprints. This really troubled me, so I asked the Lord about it. "Lord, you said once I decided to follow you, You'd walk with me all the way. But I noticed that during the saddest and most troublesome times of my life, there was only one set of footprints. I don't understand why, when I needed You the most, You would leave me." He whispered, "My precious child, I love you and will never leave you Never, ever, during your trials and testings. When you saw only one set of footprints, It was then that I carried you."
